Our work

What Innov8av does with Luma

Innov8av installs and services Luma surveillance systems — Luma x20 NVRs and IP cameras, remote viewing, motion and analytics, and OvrC cloud management. We recover offline recorders, replace failed drives, restore remote access and expand camera coverage.

Service & repair

Luma problems we fix

We service and repair Luma systems whether we installed them or not. Common issues we resolve:

  • Luma NVR offline or not accessible remotely
  • Cameras dropped, black image, or lost at night
  • Recording gaps or a failed / full NVR hard drive
  • No OvrC access — installer never gave you the account
  • Motion, notifications or analytics not working
  • Firmware updates and camera re-addition after a network change
  • Expanding an existing Luma system with more cameras

Send a photo of the equipment or the error and we will tell you if it is a quick fix, a part, or a redesign — before we roll a truck.

Dealer left?

Orphaned Luma system? We adopt it.

Luma systems are managed through OvrC, and the account usually stays with the installer — so when they disappear, you can't see your own cameras remotely. As a Snap One dealer, Innov8av takes over the OvrC account, restores your remote access, replaces failed drives and supports the system going forward.

Why us

Why a licensed integrator for Luma

Luma is dealer-provisioned pro gear, not consumer cameras — proper service needs Snap One dealer access and real CCTV design. Innov8av is a Snap One dealer with a C-10 license, so we handle the wiring, the NVR, the network and OvrC as one licensed team.

How service works

Who repairs Luma cameras in Los Angeles — and how

Luma Surveillance is Snap One's professional CCTV line: NDAA-compliant, ETL-listed cameras (bullet, dome, turret and PTZ) recording to Luma 120, 220 and 510 Series NVRs, all managed through OvrC. Two layers decide a Luma service call:

  • The account. Live remote viewing and firmware run through OvrC, and the site is claimed to whichever dealer installed it. As a Snap One dealer, Innov8av can adopt the site into our own OvrC account and hand you proper access — the step most orphaned Luma owners are stuck on.
  • The hardware. Underneath, Luma is Hikvision-based OEM, so standard IP / PoE troubleshooting applies — dead PoE ports, IP conflicts, a failed or full NVR drive, a camera that needs a local password reset through the SADP device tool, or cabling faults. We fix these on-site whether or not we installed the system.

That is why a Luma system left behind by a vanished installer is almost always recoverable. Innov8av restores OvrC access, replaces drives and cameras, re-tunes analytics and supports the system going forward — licensed C-10 and ACO 7755, serving LA County since 2016.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

I can't see my Luma cameras remotely — can you fix it?

Yes. Remote access to Luma runs through OvrC, which is usually tied to the installer. As a Snap One dealer we transfer the OvrC account to you and restore remote viewing.

Can you service a Luma NVR with recording gaps or a failed drive?

Yes. We diagnose the recorder, replace failed or full hard drives, recover configuration and restore continuous recording.

My Luma installer disappeared and I have no OvrC account — can you help?

Yes. This is a very common takeover for us. We adopt the system into our OvrC dealer account and give you proper access and support.

Can you add cameras to my existing Luma system?

Yes — we expand Luma NVRs with additional compatible cameras, run the wiring to code, and re-tune analytics and coverage.

Are you a Snap One / Luma dealer in Los Angeles?

Yes — Innov8av is a Snap One dealer serving LA County since 2016, licensed (ACO 7755, C-10), insured, rated 5.0/5.

Who repairs Luma cameras in Los Angeles?

Innov8av — a Snap One dealer and licensed C-10 / ACO 7755 integrator. We restore OvrC access, replace failed NVR drives and cameras, and fix the underlying IP / PoE issues whether or not we installed the system.

Are Luma cameras just rebranded Hikvision?

Luma Surveillance is built on Hikvision-based OEM hardware and is NDAA-compliant and ETL-listed. That means standard IP-camera tools (including SADP for local password resets) work, so an experienced technician can service them without proprietary equipment.

My Luma NVR went offline after my installer left — can you get me back online?

Yes. We adopt the site into our OvrC dealer account to restore remote viewing, and repair anything on the local network — a failed 120/220/510 Series NVR drive, IP conflicts or cabling — so you keep your existing cameras and recorder.
